Use Glitter Glue To Make Christmas Cards
75Glitter glue is a decorative and economical way to design handmade Christmas cards. All you need for making handmade cards is glitter glue, a package of blank cards, a drawing pencil, and green, red, and gold colored pencils. Below are a few pictures that I took of the glitter glue cards that I designed this Christmas season.
Above is the video I made featuring the glitter glue Christmas cards that I created.
I purchased a package of blank cards for making my Christmas cards. This can be found at most crafting stores and on Amazon.
I lined up all of my blank cards and wrote Merry Christmas on the front of each one.
I decorated each side of the first Christmas card with Christmas trees that I drew with two different shades of green colored pencils.
I used gold glitter glue to trace over the words Merry Christmas.
I used colored pencils to draw a wreath of each side of the card.
Used red and silver glitter glue to create the text for my card.
I used green, red, and gold colored pencils draw the Christmas trees on the front of this card.
The silver glitter glue almost looks like paint on this card.
The wreath on each side of Merry Christmas was drawn with a colored pencil.
The gold glitter glue on the Merry Christmas text looks far more expensive than the dollar store price of this crafting supply.
For this card I decided to make a slightly larger Christmas tree and decorate it with gold and red balls. The Christmas tree is draw with colored pencils.
The silver glitter glue used to trace over the Merry Christmas text almost looks as delectable as silver frosting piped on a glittery Christmas cake. Of course glitter glue is not edible, but you could make edible frosting if you wanted to decorate a Christmas cake.
I used two different shades of colored pencils to create the wreaths on both sides of the card.
I used gold glitter glue to decorate the text on the front of this card. Also, I used red glitter glue to decorate the holy berries on the wreaths on each side of the text.
I spread the glitter glue cards out so these could dry.

You are a always so creative, cannot see you ever getting bored, and that is a good thing. :) Very nice tips! Whenever I get the desire to be crafty, I can come and check your how to hubs.
Voted up!
Since I'm a dud at centering hand-lettering on anything, I'd have to forget that step and do the lettering on my word processor, print it on card stock, and then use the glitter glue. Another advantage to my method would be the variety of fonts available. Great, informative hub otherwise!
Merry Christmas sweetiepie. Good work :-)

Great hub. Reminds me of the last thing my mom and I did together. I still have her card. I will always keep it. Voted up.
