Photographing The Southern California Sky
The sky is Southern California is simply breathtaking to photograph when there is an amazing sunset. Southern California is known for its beautiful and mesmerizing sunsets, which I like to capture with my camera. The other day we had some brilliant and otherworldly sunsets after a rainstorm, and the clouds created paintings for my digital camera to preserve for years to come. The different colors and shades that can be found in the sky are intriguing, and the buildings and telephone wires add to the urban interest of these cityscapes with open fields. Not all of Southern California is built up, and there are places where you can find businesses next to open fields with the views of the Mount Baldy and the San Bernardino Mountains in the distance. Some people cannot stand to see electric lines obstructing the view of the sunset, but to me, it is just part of the character of a semi-rural region.
There are many beautiful sights to photograph in Southern California.
Above is a video I created of my walk at sunset.
The photos above are an example of the mesmerizing beauty that can be found at sunset in Southern California. For instance, after the rain, you never know if there will be pink, orange, red, purple, or even a hint of sepia in the sky. The colors astound the eye, and the clouds create shapes that are otherworldly. Thus, the Southern California sky is something beautiful that you can treasure with photography, and that many people travel from all around the world to see. If you do not have a camera you should definitely get one so you can record photos of the amazing landscape on your next trip to Southern California.
