The Beauty of The Clouds In Southern California

Updated on February 17, 2017

Since I am a Southern California native, I decided to share more of the beauty of my native state with those who have never been to this part of the world. If you are traveling to Southern California these pictures will give you more of an idea about what the area looks like. If you are like me and would love to travel, but have budgetary constraints, then the pictures from the photo essay will at least allow you to go on a journey via the World Wide Web. If you want to come to Southern California, you can drive or take public transportation. Google Maps are a wonderful tool for planning your driving, bus, and train trips. You can even use Google Maps to help map out the route you are walking. Walking between Southern California cities really is not that large of a distance because there is a continuous stretch of cities, one flowing right into another. For instance, you have Mentone, Redlands, Loma Linda, San Bernardino, Rialto, Ontario, Fontana, and Rancho Cucamonga all connected to each other. You would not even realize you had driven through distinct cities if you were a tourist not looking at signs or road maps.

Walking around Southern California after a storm is always quite fascinating.  I especially enjoyed seeing water rushing down the storm drain, which is dry during most of the year.

Taking pictures of the cloudy environment was a treat for me. I love the shadows these large puffy clouds caste. Yes, you can see shapes in the clouds, or I see these anyway!

There were many fascinating cloud formations that I photographed during my walk in Loma Linda, and by taking so many pictures I am always ensured I will have a few favorites.
