Lake Arrowhead Photos

Updated on January 17, 2017

Lake Arrowhead is a resort community located at an elevation of five thousand feet above sea level in the truly picturesque San Bernardino Mountains. Many people come to Lake Arrowhead to see the lake, but I also encourage people to go on nature walks and hikes, so they can take pictures of the beautiful scenery. As a child growing up in the San Bernardino Mountains I often took for granted I was surrounded by nature as a playground, but as an adult visiting my hometown, I always have to marvel at this. Going on a trip to the mountains is a great respite from the chaos and pollution of the city, and taking pictures is quite a soothing hobby. I highly recommend spending time up here in the San Bernardino Mountains so you can see the beauty of the Lake Arrowhead vicinity for yourself.

The Dead Pine Tree Is Still Beautiful

Below I made a video of a dead pine tree, which is still quite beautiful to gaze at.

Visiting Lake Arrowhead in the winter and early spring gives you the opportunity to see snow. I highly recommend planning a vacation around this time of year, so you can take some lovely pictures of the landscape.

Walking and hiking in the snow can be quite fun, and those who enjoy the frigid weather my even enjoy playing on a swing laden with snow. Sorry, but I will not be swinging on a snowy swing.

I love to photograph the mountains and the trees after a snow storm, but the sky can also be an interesting subject.

Little bits of blue sky peeking through the clouds can be quite interesting to see. I love the luminous effect the sun has upon the snow. It is like viewing the diamonds of nature, which everyone can afford to play with.

Record The Memories

A digital camera will allow you to record the memories of your breath taking trip to the San Bernardino Mountains.  I love taking pictures on my trips because these souvenirs are free, except for the initial price of having to buy a camera.

Have you ever took pictures in Lake Arrowhead, California?
