Fourth of July Arts And Crafts For Kids

By SweetiePie

Have you ever wondered about what types of crafts your kids, or your nieces and nephews, can make on the Fourth of July? I will never be a parent myself, but I love coming up with craft ideas for my niece and nephew. One of our fondest memories of time spent together was when we all decided to draw our own interpretations of a Hawaiian sunset, so I always love to do arts and crafts with my niece or nephew. When I cannot spend time with my niece and nephew I always send them a handmade holiday card, which is something they treasure and enjoy. Here are a couple of craft projects we thought were a fun way to celebrate the red, white, and blue spirit of America's independence day. You know what else is good about making your own crafts on the Fourth of July? You can create American themed decorations that are not made in China, which is especially patriotic when you are decorating specifically for the Fourth of July!

Are you not from the United States?  Try you hand at cross stitching a flag magnet based on the banner of your country, or you can even make a simple card that captures the spirit of your country's flag.  Happy patriotic crafting!
