I Enjoy Taking Pictures

Updated on September 8, 2016

Digital photography was a technological advancement that enabled people to share their pictures with family and friends who live far away without having to go to the post office. In the past when people still used picture film, you would have to buy duplicate pictures if you wanted to share these with family and friends. Now anyone with an Internet connection can share their digital art with loved ones via email or social networking sites. People who enjoy blogging can also share their pictures with a large audience, or even start a career for themselves by marketing and selling their photography online. The reason I love to create digital photo art is to illustrate my hubs and blogs, and because I also enjoy taking pictures as an artist. Even though drawing is my favorite form of artwork, I do appreciate the speed and ease of being able to take several hundred photos on a day trip. Photo art allows you to share the beauty of a region that many people may never be able to see, and that is one of my goals when I share pictures. The pictures I have included in this photo art essay are a few of my favorites that I love to look at from time to time.

So what is digital photo art to you? My definition of digital photo art are the pictures that I enjoy looking at because these are vibrant or aesthetically pleasing. Everyone has a different idea about what art is, so ultimately you have to create compositions to speak to you personally.

Owning a camcorder that takes digital pictures is the ideal way to create videos and photographs to share with family and friends.  I often make videos of landscape that I use to illustrate my hubs and blogs.

Having a digital camera on hand at all times guarantees you will have at least a few pictures you will want to share with others.  Digital cameras are now more affordable than ever, and the easy to use features ensure most anyone can take aesthetically pleasing photographs.

Photographing The Beauty of Nature Is Addicting!

If you take enough pictures, you are bound to find a few you enjoy.  There are many pictures that I like, but sunsets always tend to be some of my favorites.

The Pinnacles in the San Bernardino Mountains is one of my favorite subjects to photograph, and I always have many pictures to share of this location.

So I recommend keeping a digital camcorder on hand, which will allow you to take many pictures during your daily adventures. You never know what you may photograph, and what subjects would be useful on your hubs and blog posts. Why use other people's pictures when you can take your own!
