Christmas CD's To Buy For Yourself, Or To Give To A Friend
66I always have fond memories of singing in the choir when I was in elementary school, and how we went caroling one year. As an adult I go down memory lane by listening to my Christmas CD's around the holidays. Today I was going through my CD's and thinking of my favorite songs. Here are a few Christmas CD's you might want to buy for yourself, or to give to a friend. Remember Christmas is all about enjoying the holidays and unwinding with some soothing music. Avoid the crowds when it comes to shopping, and buy gifts for your friends online. You will be happy that you have more time and less stress if you go the online shopping route this year. Also, you could have a Christmas music listening party where everyone brings their favorite music CD's, and everyone takes turns sharing these with the group. What is your favorite Christmas song? I happen to love Jingle Bells, and it always reminds me of Rudolph, even though that is an entirely different song! There is just something magical about the holidays when it comes to decorating and playing music. You do not have to spend a fortune on Christmas music, and it is something enjoyable everyone can enjoy.
Christmas Cafe
The Christmas Cafe is a soothing jazz infused Christmas music CD. I especially enjoyed this CD's rendition The Chanukah Song, but Jingle Bells was also catchy. There is no singing on this CD, so it is ideal to listen to if you just want some ambient Christmas music in the background when you are writing. The thing I love the most about the Christmas Cafe CD is the sepia image of coffee on the front. Listening to it while drinking a cup of coffee truly is relaxing.
Buy the Christmas Noel CD
If you are looking for a Christmas CD with more traditional holiday songs, then the First Noel CD is for you. I loved the vocals on this album, and the Sussex Carol was the most touching of these all. The CD is only about a half hour in length, so it is perfect to talk along on a car ride, or just if you want a quick break from wrapping presents while you eat dinner.
Buy the Christmas in the Old Country CD
This CD features Christmas songs sung by the English Chorale, and is a nice treat for Americans who would like a taste of an English Christmas so to speak. Some Americans talk about having Dicken's themed Christmas, and I could imagine this album playing during a party with such a party. Actually it is nice to have Christmas music from around to the world to see how other cultures celebrate and sing about the holidays.
Buy the December CD
The Moody Blues put out this Christmas CD December back in 2000, and it includes some of their original songs such as the hauntingly beautiful December Snow. However, my favorite song on this album is Happy Xmas (War Is Over), which is a cover of the John Lennon and Yoko Ono original. If you are a Moody Blues fan like I am, then you will enjoy adding December to your Christmas music collection. So relax and decorate the Christmas tree while listening the majestic voices of John Lodge and Justin Hayward singe their versions of Christmas tunes.

Oh definately check it out... I was listening to it all day yesterday while I was driving to San Bernadino to meet my husband for lunch. His music is mellow and I just love his voice.

We just got a couple of brand new Christmas CDs. I love Christmas music and it seems to be a tradition to buy a new one every year during the holidays. I picked up the Michael Buble one... absolutley love it. It isn't old school, but I have plenty of those already and I really love Michael Buble's voice.
